Our story began with Ursula D. Warner, whose 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force shaped not only her resilience but her love for sharing the comforts of home through food. After retiring from the military, Ursula found herself seeking a new purpose while addressing the mental toll of her combat experiences. She turned to the flavors of Southwest Louisiana, where food had always been a source of healing. This passion for Southern cooking inspired Ursula to start her business, hoping to spread a little joy, positivity, and that unmistakable taste of home with everyone she served.
For Ursula, cooking isn’t just about feeding people—it’s about connection and community. After her years of service, she realized that preparing meals and sharing them with others brought a sense of fulfillment and peace. From the hearty gumbo to the slow-cooked red beans and rice, each dish is made with care, offering more than just a meal—it’s an invitation to experience the warmth and hospitality of Southern cooking. With every dish, Ursula continues to honor the traditions she grew up with, while building new memories with the people she now has the pleasure to serve.
